Lucifer Resurrexit

A Gnostic Doctrine of the Christo-Luciferian Current

Drawing on the Sethian and Valentinian traditions of the Nag Hammadi library, Lucifer Resurrexit develops the recovered Christological identification into a coherent Gnostic doctrine of the Christo-Luciferian current. The Logos - the divine creative principle incarnate in Jesus Christ - is the authentic Lucifer: the Light-Bearer who descends into the darkness of the hylic world to awaken the pneumatic spark within every human being and initiate its return to the Pleroma, the divine fullness from which it descended. The arising of the Morning Star within the heart of the practitioner - the illumination of the indwelling Logos, the theosis of the whole person through gnosis - is the goal of the initiatic life as the Gnostic tradition has always understood it. From this doctrinal foundation the work develops a complete practical system: foundational disciplines of sacred breath, meditation, intonation, and contemplation of the current's central symbol, the Sigillum Luciferis; two forms of the central Rite of the Morning Star, for solitary and group working; a Rite of Self-Dedication; a Vespers of the Evening Star oriented toward the Hesperean aspect of the current; theurgic practices of healing and protection grounded in the light of the Phosphoros; and a sacred calendar integrating the Venus synodic cycle, the eightfold solar year, and the Christian liturgical feasts of particular Christo-Luciferian resonance. The Morning Star has always been Christ. This book says so plainly, and follows where that saying leads.
